Born Yesterday (Nov 23 – Dec 2, 2017)

A Broadway triumph-turned-1950 Academy Award-nominated film, Born Yesterday is a deliciously witty screwball comedy about a corrupt businessman trying to get ahead. Harry Brock, a vulgar, egotistical junk-dealer millionaire on the rise, hunkers down in a lavishly decorated hotel room in Washington with his brassy chorus girl girlfriend Billie Dawn in tow.

Season 41

The announcement of each upcoming season is always an exciting time for me, but it is also a nail-biting one. Will my choices appeal to our existing subscribers? Will the selections attract new audiences? Will actors clamour for parts? Will directors jump at the chance to bring the scripts to life? Will those who work behind the scenes want to spend their time and energy on these productions? I certainly hope so! - Michael James Burgess, June 2017
